TranSigma Partners: Transforming Business by Delivering Process Excellence

David Nolting, Managing Director
Organizations often find it challenging to choose from the myriad of Microsoft products and technologies, and to place them into a context that supports sustainable business processes. Established in 2005, TranSigma Partners simplifies this problem by organizing initiatives into 4 pillars of excellence: Lean, Governance, Enterprise Data Architecture, and Project Management. They specialize in delivering business processes and information architecture by organizing Microsoft technology around these 4 pillars. “At TranSigma we help organizations define ‘process and architecture’ strategy that supports changing business climates. We then help them execute on that strategy utilizing key Microsoft products such as BizTalk Services and SQL Server for data quality and rationalization, and Azure for premise to cloud data sharing. We’ve developed robust patterns and applications that we use to drive policy management and project life cycle for wing-to-wing data connectivity,” says David Nolting, Managing Director, TranSigma Partners.

Headquartered in Norwalk, CT, TranSigma transforms businesses by identifying effective opportunities for business transformation. They focus on these key areas: Process Optimization, Business and Information Architecture, Strategy Execution, and Change Management and Support.

TranSigma helps organizations set data strategy by designing data supply chain solutions which support core processes with golden source data, and reliable and timely capture of transactional data from systems of record.Data is published downstream through a data supply chain where it is processed for quality, subject to business challenges, and integrated into EDW and ERP/CRM reporting solutions such as accounting, marketing, and risk and regulatory reporting. TranSigma is especially effective in streamlining implementation through measured work streams that deliver immediate, strategic business value. “We employ Lean and Six Sigma experts to define business process and data governance, and use Microsoft certified architects to deliver robust, supporting architecture. We combine solid business and IT skills to deliver holistic data strategies for the enterprise,” adds Nolting.

TranSigma has partnered with a 0Microsoft Integration SME, ReachSOA, to combine process and technology skills required to guarantee successful delivery of sustainable information architecture.

We apply business expertise in financial and operational risk, and knowledge of Microsoft technology to help organizations design and implement sustainable business processes and information architecture

The partnership differentiates itself from its competition by leveraging Black Belt Six Sigma, Lean, and Microsoft SME professionals enabling it to drive strategy across the enterprise for Regulatory Risk, B2B, B2C, ERP, CRM, EDW and MDM.

For example, they have rolled out a Customer Information Management (CIM) solution for the Fédération Française de Tennis (FFT) in Paris, France. The FFT manages on-line ticket sales for the French Open and Bercy tournaments. The CIM centralizes system of record customer information for the more than 1.5 million active members of the FFT and captures customer purchasing behavior through meta data analysis. The Tournament ticketing processes have been radically improved: Prior to the solution, opening of ticket sales required an “all hands on deck” tactical operation to manage servers and synchronize data between the web interfaces and the back office ticketing solutions. Now, with continuous data quality services and analytics, the opening of the tournament occurs over time and across targeted sales channels. Modeling of product packs have helped them develop new revenue channels for the tournament.

Moving forward, TranSigma Partners plans to position itself as a thought leader in enterprise data management and architecture for financial regulatory risk. “Through a fortified partnership of TranSigma Partners and ReachSOA technologies, we will be building out Enterprise Data Management, Metadata and data lineage, and advanced Platform and Architecture solutions that manage risk for Financial Regulatory and Capital Planning efforts,” asserts Nolting.
