“They set off to compare our application to one of the competing graph database applications and they set up this objective of picking a pile of data that they ingested into both applications and then ran the same query using both of them,” elaborates Haglin. The client, however, ended up picking a more minor data set because the other tool was taking too long to ingest data, whereas xGT completed the task in just five minutes. Consequently, the client had to change the experiment they wanted to perform and ultimately witnessed that Trovares’s xGT ran their query 100 times faster, which speaks volumes about how powerful the solution can be for data scientists today and tomorrow.
