Wilcon enables customers to enjoy the benefits of controlled and efficient networks by offering core network infrastructure in a fully integrated methodology. By providing both services that is Ethernet and optical wavelengths and dark fiber, Wilcon works with its customers to configure an optimal, scalable and secure solution for their network requirements. Moreover, Wilcon enables a seamless connection of these networks to a data center facility at the core of the Internet.

The company owns and operates the largest and privately-held fiber optic network in Southern California,covering Los Angeles, Orange County, the Inland Empire and San Diego.

Under the leadership of Jon DeLuca, CEO & President, Wilcon, has proven expertise infiber optic network and data center infrastructure selling dark fiber, managed private optical networks; data center facilities; interconnection services; Ethernet services ranging from 100mbps to 10gbps; wavelength services of one to 100gbps range, IP transport and technical services.

“Wilcon is one of the few providers that deliver an integrated data center and network service to its customers. We also differentiate ourselves by being one of the only carriers to provide dark fiber infrastructure to our customers throughout our network footprint”, says DeLuca on the differentiating aspects of the company.

As one of the biggest fiber optic networks in Southern California, Wilcon ensures vast reach and diverse routes, comprising of 3,000 miles of fiber and connections to 1,000 connecting major data centers, enterprise locations and wireless communications sites, as well as the most dense fiber and interconnection infrastructure in downtown Los Angeles.

The Future Plans

Wilcon would continue to expand its network and increase the density of its fiber footprint. Currently, the focus is on HealthCare, Media, Service Providers and Carriers, Government and Higher Education. The company has plansto develop its data center presence as well. “Our largest customers include domestic and international telecommunications carriers, Tier 1 wireless carriers, and global Internet companies. We also provide our services to leading universities, healthcare systems, and media and entertainment businesses”, explains DeLuca.
