Design Strategy: Accelerating Transformation through AI-Native Tooling and Global Reach
Luis Coimbra, Founder and CEO
How was Design Strategy created, and what gap does it fill in enterprise digital transformation today? The foundation of Design Strategy was born out of real-world senior executive experience. After more than 25 years in C-level and executive technology roles, including serving as Partner and Director of Enterprise Architecture at Cogna Education, I witnessed a gap between purchasing technology and achieving digital transformation. I led Cogna's largest digital transformation initiative, which was reflected in its market valuation. That experience made clear that many companies invest heavily in tools but lack the foundational architecture to support them. Design Strategy was founded in São Paulo, Brazil, in 2024 to bring that level of structural digital transformation to other enterprises. With a team of over 20 specialized professionals spanning software engineering, DevOps, quality assurance, and business analysis, we apply the MIT CISR framework to build the five essential building blocks of a digital business. Our goal is to elevate companies into operational excellence, particularly in the age of AI. How does your expansion into Austin, Texas, fit your broader SaaS strategy? We identified an opportunity to internationalize mature, proven Brazilian SaaS platforms into the U.S. market, specifically targeting the tech hub of Austin, Texas. By establishing our U.S. affiliate, DStrategy, LLC, in 2025, we created a two-way bridge to bring robust Brazilian solutions to the U.S. market and to apply our transformation methodology to American SaaS companies that need to modernize for the AI era. I currently direct the U.S. expansion from Austin, where I oversee the strategic positioning of our SaaS portfolio for the North American market, while overseeing our Brazilian operation through our CEO in Brazil. Not every company is ready for the same transformation at the same time. Our role is to meet each company where they are—whether that means internationalizing a mature SaaS product or rebuilding an outdated architecture from the ground up. We are currently internationalizing platforms like NashAI and DNX Soluções. We don't just distribute these products; we prepare them for new markets and open them up for investment and strategic partnerships. How does the Triage Suite accelerate this transformation process? We have always used our own proprietary solutions in our transformation work. Over time, that capability—supercharged by AI—became a product in itself. The Triage Suite is our transformation accelerator, a set of tools that allows us to diagnose, correct, protect, and build software with auditable evidence. For instance, TriageHub identifies, proposes, and applies code fixes while keeping humans in control. It provides forensic security analysis by cross-referencing logs, source code, and dependencies against massive vulnerability databases, ensuring that AI explains the risk while the human makes the decision. Finally, TriageCode applies Specification-Driven Development through specialized agents, ensuring serious software isn't built on improvisation. We believe that AI should not replace human judgment; it should amplify it. In our Triage Suite, the AI explains the problem and proposes the fix, but the human always holds the final decision. Evidence precedes the promise. Can you share an example of how your products are delivering tangible outcomes? We have a portfolio of SaaS products operating with their own traction. One example is JurisReport. It achieves 94 percent transcription accuracy and reduces the average analysis time to just 12 minutes, all while ensuring LGPD compliance. What used to take days of manual transcription is now ready for litigation in minutes. What is the next phase for Design Strategy? The next phase is deepening our footprint in the U.S. market through our Austin operation, while elevating SaaS platforms globally. We are building the U.S. team over the next 18 months and are actively seeking investment and distribution partnerships for our portfolio products. Ultimately, our mission is to deliver real digital transformation where technology serves as the operational backbone.

AI and Sustainability: Building the Future of Business in Latin America

Organizations across Latin America are redefining their growth strategies through digital transformation initiatives that align technology investments with measurable business objectives. AI is increasingly being seen as a practical tool for improving operational performance, enhancing decision-making, and supporting long-term competitiveness. Rather than treating transformation as a standalone technology project, business leaders are now integrating intelligent systems into broader modernization agendas.

Deep Dive

AI-Led Digital Transformation that Survives Enterprise Reality

AI-led digital transformation has moved from board-level aspiration to a capital-allocation question. Executives no longer need another demonstration of what generative models can produce; they need proof that AI can improve processes without weakening control, security, accountability and software quality. The bigger problem is not model access. It is the enterprise environment into which AI is introduced. Fragmented systems, unclear ownership, inconsistent data and aging codebases can turn promising pilots into disconnected experiments that fail to change how work gets done.

AI-Led Digital Transformation Solutions in Latin America Info

Q1
What Do AI-Led Digital Transformation Solutions in Latin America Help Enterprises Do?
Top AI-Led Digital Transformation Solutions in Latin America help companies use artificial intelligence to improve core work, not just add another software layer. They may support process mapping, automation, analytics, customer service, document handling, forecasting or decision support. The strongest programs start with messy real conditions: legacy systems, uneven data quality, staff adoption and pressure to show results without stopping the business.
Q2
What Services Are Included in AI-Led Digital Transformation Programs?
Services usually include digital maturity reviews, workflow redesign, data preparation, AI model selection, software integration, automation planning, user training and performance tracking. Top AI-Led Digital Transformation Solutions in Latin America also need governance around privacy, bias, security and accountability. A useful provider should explain how a pilot will move into daily use rather than remain a demo that works only in a controlled setting.
Q3
Why Is Demand Growing for AI-Led Transformation Solutions in Latin America?
Demand is rising because organizations are under pressure to serve customers faster, reduce manual work and make better use of fragmented data. Many teams still rely on spreadsheets, disconnected systems and slow approval chains. Top AI-Led Digital Transformation Solutions in Latin America are becoming relevant as banks, retailers, healthcare groups, manufacturers and public-facing organizations look for practical AI adoption that fits local language, regulation and infrastructure realities.
Q4
How Should Decision-Makers Evaluate Digital Transformation Providers?
Decision-makers should look closely at how digital transformation providers diagnose problems before proposing tools. Ask the provider to test its approach on a real process, such as a customer request, claims file, procurement step or production report. Top AI-Led Digital Transformation Solutions in Latin America should show what data is needed, where human review stays in place, how errors are handled and how results will be measured after launch.
Q5
What Business Value Can AI-Led Digital Transformation Deliver?
The value often appears in fewer repeat tasks, faster decisions, clearer reporting and better use of employee time. Poorly planned projects can create extra dashboards, duplicate workflows and confusion about who owns the output. Top AI-Led Digital Transformation Solutions in Latin America create stronger results when AI is tied to specific business pain points, such as late approvals, service backlogs, inventory gaps, compliance reviews or customer churn.
Q6
What Role Do Innovation and Technical Expertise Play in This Category?
Innovation matters, but technical judgment matters more. Strong teams understand model performance, cybersecurity, data pipelines, integration limits and change management. Top AI-Led Digital Transformation Solutions in Latin America should combine AI tools with local market knowledge, multilingual user needs and a clear plan for human oversight. The best use of technology is often modest at first: one process improved, one bottleneck reduced and one team confident enough to keep using it.
