Trutesta: Connecting the TICC Lifecycle
Michael Hills, CEO
The testing, inspection, certification and compliance (TICC) industry continues to rely on software systems introduced over the years to solve individual business needs. While each system serves its purpose, they rarely work together, creating disconnected workflows and leaving critical information scattered across multiple platforms. The fragmentation also makes compliance, audits and accreditation harder to manage. Trutesta brings the TICC industry onto a more connected digital foundation. It provides an integrated suite of applications that supports the entire TICC service lifecycle, from onboarding and testing to project execution, certification issuance and ongoing inspection management. Connecting these stages reduces duplicate data entry, keeps information flowing and improves operational efficiency. Its ‘compliance-by-design’ approach ensures all information generated remains documented, connected and readily available for audits. Customer-facing portals allow clients to submit certification requests, provide documents and information and later track the status of their certifications, creating a 360-degree view of the customer relationship. “What we provide this industry is an end-to-end process for delivering services and then managing those services once they are delivered,” says Michael Hills, CEO. Hills spent more than a decade developing software for different functions within the TICC industry before establishing Trutesta. Those projects gave him a broader view of the service lifecycle, eventually revealing how those individual pieces could be brought together into a single, end-to-end platform. A cloud foundation built on Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes gives the scalability, security and resilience needed to keep critical TICC operations running without interruption. An Application for Every Role, Every Stage The platform is organized into three main categories of applications, each supporting a different stage of the TICC process. The first category focuses on the front end of the customer journey, providing applications that allow clients to initiate a service request and submit the information needed to determine their testing and certification requirements. The request is then routed to the appropriate specialists, who gather additional documents, such as user manuals or product samples, through the system. The software also helps prepare quotations and estimates for the required work. Once the customer accepts the estimate, the second category takes over, supporting testing and project execution. Project plans are established, resources assigned and deliverables defined. In laboratory operations, the platform manages equipment calibration records to help maintain accreditation requirements and tracks samples as they move between laboratories and testing facilities. Resource scheduling helps coordinate engineers, equipment and project timelines. Engineers can document test results, generate reports and maintain supporting evidence. Reports then pass through structured review and approval processes. After successful testing, the workflow moves into the third category of applications—certification, compliance and its ongoing management. Trutesta also provides tools for scheduling field inspections, enabling inspectors to complete assessments remotely and record inspection histories against each certification. Any deviations identified during inspections are tracked through variance management tools. Extending the Value of a Connected Platform Trutesta's ability to connect fragmented operations has delivered measurable results for customers. In one long-term engagement, a global organization operating in all major geographical regions had certification offices managing inspections through different platforms. Trutesta brought inspection, ownership, execution and billing into a single solution, improving efficiency and communication between teams in North America, Europe and Asia. The engagement later expanded piece by piece to client deliverable approvals, which Trutesta moved from a legacy system to its SaaS application, creating a unified system for global management. Looking ahead, Trutesta is incorporating AI into project status management and estimation. It is also exploring how AI trained on approved and accredited testing standards could recommend test plans and testing approaches, with human oversight remaining central to the process. It plans to expand its reach to mid-sized testing laboratories and certification organizations, helping more TICC businesses improve the speed and efficiency of their operations. Trutesta's vision is clear: connect the TICC lifecycle, simplify compliance and make every stage of certification work smarter.

Q1
How Does Top Cloud TIC And Certification Management Software Support Testing and Certification Work?
Top Cloud TIC And Certification Management Software connects tasks that are often split across separate systems into workflows for testing, inspection, certification and compliance. Within a cloud-based TICC software environment, functions can include service requests, document collection, quotations, project planning, laboratory records, reporting, certification issuance and inspection management. The main value is continuity: information can move between stages without repeated entry or isolated records.
Q2
Why Is Demand Growing for Cloud TIC and Certification Management Software?
Demand is tied to the complexity of TICC operations, where organizations must coordinate technical work, documentation, approvals, inspections and compliance requirements across teams and locations. Top Cloud TIC And Certification Management Software can help replace fragmented tools with shared workflows and accessible records. TICC software is particularly relevant where distributed teams need consistent processes, audit readiness and clearer visibility as work moves from request to certification and ongoing inspection.
Q3
What Should Organizations Evaluate When Selecting Cloud TIC and Certification Management Software?
Organizations should assess how well the software covers the full service lifecycle rather than solving only one function. Important factors include workflow integration, document and evidence management, reporting, resource scheduling, certification controls and inspection capabilities. Top Cloud TIC And Certification Management Software should also support compliance and accreditation processes while fitting existing operating practices. Buyers should consider usability, implementation requirements, scalability and the ability to manage information across teams. Certification management platforms also need to accommodate the organization’s specific workflows.
Q4
What Role Do Technology and Service Quality Play in Cloud TIC and Certification Management Software?
Technology matters when it supports traceability, coordination and control rather than adding another isolated application. Top Cloud TIC And Certification Management Software can connect operational records, automate movement between stages and keep supporting information available for review. Useful capabilities may include structured approvals, calibration records, sample tracking, remote inspections, variance management and customer portals. Testing and inspection software should also provide dependable workflows as technical requirements and certification activities change over time.
