It is now well established that financial markets generally and individual securities specifically are often not in equilibrium for extended periods of time. Founded in 2015, Precision Alpha has changed the traditional approach to equity prediction by using analytical Machine Learning on historical price information to identify alpha in non-equilibrium financial markets. The company was founded by two veterans of Wall Street Mark Temple-Raston and Michael Lucente, who witnessed first-hand the challenges of non-equilibrium markets owing to the lack of a precise analytical solution. "Today, our proprietary, patent-pending technology platform leverages an exactly solvable (analytical), non-equilibrium machine learning to scientifically analyze and enrich financial market data to offer unbiased advanced insights, trends, alpha and predictive signals for investment environments that are not in equilibrium," says Temple-Raston, who is currently donning the role of CIO and Chief Data Scientist at Precision Alpha.
