Andrea Simone joined the Company in 2011 as Chief Information Officer. In this role he is responsible for creating a worldwide, world-class IT architecture that provides a competitive advantage in NBTY’s continuous drive for profitable growth. In 2015, his responsibilities expanded to include Business Transformation, where he is tasked with ensuring collaboration and coordination of critical strategic initiatives.Prior to joining NBTY, Andrea spent 20 years at Procter & Gamble in multiple positions and geographies. He began his career there as a Systems Analyst in Brussels and continued in a broad-based series of increasingly responsible roles, including Associate Director of Global Business Services and IT, Director of Business Intelligence and Decisions Support and Director of IT Development and Operations in P&G’s corporate headquarters in Ohio. He was P&G’s Chief Enterprise Architect and Going Digital Program Leader just prior to becoming the CIO at NBTY.His favorite NBTY products include Pure Protein bars, shakes and several vitamins and herbal supplements.
