Jeff Siegel, GISP, is a VP and the director of HNTB’s Technology Solutions Center. He has more than 22 years of experience in the implementation of information technology solutions related to infrastructure planning, design, operations and maintenance -- from enterprise geographic information systems and asset management solutions.

Jeff offers specialized expertise in the development of technology and systems that support the specialized infrastructure planning, operations and maintenance activities of public agencies. He has proven experience working with municipalities, transportation agencies and public utility agencies across the nation leveraging different technologies to meet operational needs.

Some of Jeff’s project successes have led to local and national award recognition for innovation and implementation excellence. This has included Exemplary Systems in Government (ESIG) awards from the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA), achievement awards from the Indiana Geographic Information Council, International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association, ACEC-Illinois, and the Indiana Water Environment Association.

Jeff earned his master’s degree in urban and regional planning from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs. He is a Certified GIS Professional; his professional commitment has included the being a certified workshop instructor for the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association, a Geographic Information System Certification Institute (GISCI) Review Committee Member, an Industry Trends Analysis Group Advisor for the Geospatial Information Technology Association and a working member of the BuildingSMARTalliance BIM-GIS Committee.
