Ken Ramoutar

Vice President of Global Solutions and Industry Ma, Avanade

Ken Ramoutar is the Senior Vice President Solutions and Industry Marketing Avanade, Inc.  In this role, He is responsible for leading Avanade go-to-market strategies for the portfolio of Avanade services across Digital, Cloud, Business Applications, and Technology Services initiatives.

This includes the development and communication of long- and short-term marketing strategies, industry and solution messaging and positioning, leading thought leadership agendas, and demand generation strategies across digital channels. He also serves as a spokesperson to internal organizations, customers, partners, industry analysts and the press.

He has more than 20 years’ experience leading Marketing organizations and has served in product management, product marketing, and business development functions within software, professional services, and consumer electronics.  He joins Avanade from IBM where he led product and industry marketing for a $1B portfolio of solutions. He brings extensive expertise in marketing, supply chain management (SCM), customer relationship management (CRM) and business intelligence (BI) to Avanade.  Previous companies include Sterling Commerce, Ariba, Computer Associates; and LG Electronics. 

Mr. Ramoutar is a frequent speaker on marketing and product management topics for the Pittsburgh Product Strategy Network.  He also has lectured on technology marketing topics for the Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business.  Ramoutar received his MBA, with a concentration in marketing and finance, from Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business and his Bachelor’s of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
