
Miguel Lopes
Miguel Lopes started in 1999 as a software developer and for 13 years has worked with wireless telecommunications. In 2002 Miguel co-founded a network solution provider in West Africa which deployed enterprise wired and wireless network solutions. In 2007 co-founded what would be the first Wi-Fi ISP in Cape Verde and becoming the first company to break a 21 years local telecom monopoly. Five years after Miguel accepted the invitation from Ezelink Telecom to revolutionize the company strategy in the Intelligent Hotspot and Smart City solutions as Director of Technology. During Miguel’s time in Ezelink Telecom, the company revenue tripled during a period of 3 years. Currently Miguel accepted the offer from Cataleya to be the VP of Product Management in Silicon Valley, in which one of his goals will be to include VoWiFi in the Orchid One, Cataleya’s Award Nominated SBC. His career also included participation in the UN ESCAP projects as a EBAC associate member
