Regina Salazar has over twenty years of experience in global Information Systems, Manufacturing, Operations and Aftermarket. Regina is currently the CIO of Whirlpool's Global Product Organization, which includes several global functions including the IT Team responsible for developing IOT solutions enabling Whirlpool's connected appliances. She is also part of the Detroit CIO Summit Governing Body, a member of the Michigan Council of Women in Technology (MCWT) and the Executive Sponsor for the Whirlpool Women Network, GIS Pillar.
Prior to Whirlpool, Regina held positions of increasing responsibility in Information Systems, Manufacturing and Aftermarket Operations at Delphi Automotive, Goodyear and Meritor Automotive. Regina received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from UNICAMP - Universidade Estadual de Campinas in São Paulo, Brazil, a master’s in Science Administration from Central Michigan University and has attended the International Consortia for Executive Development at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. In 2007, Regina received the Automotive Hall of Fame Young Leadership Award in recognition of her leadership and contributions to the automotive industry.
