In 1993 APCON’s founder, Richard Rauch, envisioned a company developing computer connectivity products. Under Rauch’s leadership and through his passion for technology, APCON successfully expanded to become one of the industry leaders of state-of-the-art network monitoring solutions. Rauch has built an internationally recognized company with a global workforce delivering systems to Fortune 1000 enterprises and midsize organizations in 40 countries. Today, he is an industry thought-leader and the driving force behind APCON’s vision to be a global technology and innovation company specializing in network security.
Prior to APCON, Rauch held a number of executive and engineering leadership positions at Metacomp, Unisys and Wavetek. Rauch holds a BSEE degree and a patent (U.S. patent no. 6,243,510) for the unique design of APCON's fiber optic switch system.
