Shawn Du Plessis

Shawn du Plessis is a SAP veteran with more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of SAP management, implementation, business process re-engineering, development process life cycle, managed services and third party support. Mr. du Plessis has extensive knowledge of SAP applications and processes with a strong emphasis in software engineering concepts, design principles, and implementation and support methodologies. A results-oriented leader, Mr. du Plessis has successfully developed and implemented SAP and third party support for many companies across the globe including Fortune 500 and mid-sized companies.

Most recently, Mr. du Plessis was at Rimini Street where he built their SAP third party support practice. During his tenure with Rimini Street, he built a solid support practice with more than 40 SAP clients. Mr. du Plessis began his SAP career as a SAP configuration analyst for Siemens designing and developing new systems for Siemens South Africa. He also spent 13 years at a consulting company based out of Orange County, California providing implementation leadership and support for many fortune 500 companies.

As Spinnaker Support’s Vice President, SAP Global Support Services, Mr. du Plessis is responsible for all SAP business development activities, consulting delivery and organizational development.
