Varghese Abraham serves as the Director of Project Management Office (PMO) of IT & Telecom Division at the New York City Department of Transportation. He is responsible for strategic planning, governance and performance analysis of cross divisional Programs and large Projects. He promotes project management best practices and collaboration, oversees complex business process reengineering and system transformation efforts, and leads a large team of highly skilled IT professionals, including certified project managers, business analysts, architects, and application developers.
Prior to NYC DOT, Varghese worked for corporate clients including Fortune 500 companies, providing technical project management, enterprise architecture and business process reengineering services to many global IT operations.
