D2 Solutions’ offerings were of great value for a range of specialty pharmacies during the pandemic-induced talent shortage that weighed down their patient-facing operations. The company helped these pharmacies digitalize their patient interactions, so that there was less reliance on manual processes. In one instance, D2 Solutions collaborated with a specialty pharmacy that was struggling to contact patients via telephonic outreach to coordinate refills. More than 60 percent of the patients were unresponsive to the client’s repeated outbound calls for longer than 12 months. When D2 Solutions came on board and deployed a program using its digital technology, the client was able to successfully enroll 85 percent of the patients in a highly-effective patient engagement program. Post-collaboration, the specialty pharmacy noticed a 10 percent increase in overall productivity.
