Feroot has developed three products— Inspector, DomainGuard, and PageGuard— that secure client-side web applications so that enterprises can deliver a seamless digital user experience to their customers in a secure manner.

Inspector acts as a synthetic user to crawl through an organization’s web application to automatically discover, unveil and report malicious scripts and unauthorized actions on all JavaScript web assets. All of this takes a matter of minutes, allowing businesses to immediately identify issues and strengthen their client-side security posture. With Inspector, enterprises can customize alerts based on their preferences and have fine-grained control over the pages that need to be protected.

Feroot’s DomainGuard simplifies and automates the content security policy creation process, saving organizations endless hours of trial and error. DomainGuard scans an organization’s entire web application in order to create a specific content security policy tailored for that specific application. Once deployed, the solution continuously scans the application to check for violations and proactively operationalize a client’s content security policy. DomainGuard makes a challenging, legacy security approach for client-side security extremely easy and automated.

PageGuard allows organizations to deploy security permissions and policies to JavaScript-based applications to restrict access to sensitive customer data. The solution runs continuously in the background to automatically detect and block unauthorized scripts and offer protection from malicious client-side activities and third-party scripts.

Feroot stays abreast of current and upcoming regulations related to cybersecurity, such as HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI DSS 4.0, helping clients meet their evolving requirements and stay compliant. For example, the PCI Security Standards Council issued version 4.0 of the PCI DSS in 2022, which applies to all organizations managing or in possession of payment card data. Compliance with v.4.0 is required by 2025. Feroot offers companies a way to scan and repair their websites and withstand PCI DSS audits so that they can ensure compliance and don’t have to incur penalties from credit card companies.
