Chris Atack, CEORather than using Palantir for dashboards or retrospective reporting, ForgeSight designs and deploys operational systems on Palantir Foundry. At the core is the ontology. Businesscritical objects such as people, contracts, projects, equipment, inventory, and policies are modeled once and reused across every workflow. Decisions are executed against this shared model. Proving the Model Internally
ForgeSight’s operating system approach was shaped by its own transformation. The company emerged from i4C Consulting, a Canadian IT services firm supporting large enterprises and the Canadian Federal Government.
Like many services firms, i4C relied on manual processes to assess RFPs, verify requirements, match consultants, and decide whether to bid. Reviewing a single RFP often took days. Teams manually evaluated mandatory requirements, certifications, project history, and consultant availability across disconnected tools, creating latency at the most critical decision point in the business.

Large RFP documents are now ingested directly into the platform. AI extracts requirements, maps them to historical contracts and consultant profiles, and scores opportunities based on delivery risk and strategic fit. The Chief Revenue Officer retains final go or no-go authority, but decisions are made with complete, current context.
To support this, ForgeSight modeled its business around a unified ontology anchored in shared objects such as clients, employees, consultants, and contracts. Time submission, invoicing, and payroll flow through custom applications built on Foundry and integrate directly with QuickBooks. Administrative effort was reduced, decision latency collapsed, and human oversight was preserved by design.
External Validation at Cavanagh Construction
ForgeSight applied the same operating system mindset at Cavanagh Construction, a mid-sized Canadian construction company with approximately 1,200 employees. Prior to the engagement, Cavanagh relied on point solutions, spreadsheets, and tribal knowledge. Cost versus estimate reporting lagged reality by weeks, limiting management’s ability to intervene before margin was lost.
Working alongside Palantir and Cavanagh’s internal teams, ForgeSight replaced fragmented systems with applications built directly on Foundry and tailored to how the business actually operates. Human resources data, truck scale systems, GPS feeds, dispatch workflows, and operational planning were unified through a single ontology. The existing ERP was retained only for payroll submission and regulatory reporting.
Every software tool was required to justify its existence.
With equipment, inventory, jobs, and people modeled as first-class objects, dispatch shifted from phone calls and emails to a single action inside an operational application. Leaders gained real-time visibility into idle time, maintenance needs, and resource constraints. Using AIP Analyst, executives now ask questions of the business directly, such as which vehicles will require maintenance in the next 30 days, where utilization is breaking down today, or how a scheduling change will affect cost and throughput before action is taken.
AI moved from retrospective reporting to operational guidance. The gap between insight and execution was effectively eliminated.
Scaling the Operating System
ForgeSight became a standalone company in 2025 and has grown from its first hire in March to a team of 25 by early 2026. The firm is hiring five to ten engineers and deployment strategists per month and expects to reach 100 to 150 by the end of 2026, supporting clients across Canada, the United States, and the Canadian public sector.
With the introduction of Palantir for Builders, ForgeSight is extending this operating system approach to mid-market companies and growth-stage organizations. These teams can now build AInative foundations without inheriting years of legacy complexity, using a single platform instead of layers of disconnected tools.
The result is not experimentation, but execution. AI becomes part of daily operations, embedded where decisions are made, governed by the same discipline as the business itself.
