Rubicon Professional Services (RPS) was formed in 2006 by a group of data center design and construction professionals to provide our clients with a highly technical approach to the design and construction of data centers, telecom sites, mission-critical facilities, and renewable energy projects. Our intent was to go beyond typical “brick and mortar” contractors, and provide a highly skilled focus on the components that account for up to 80% of the cost, efficiency, and reliability of the data center and critical support infrastructure – the complex electrical, mechanical, controls, and fire protection systems that are the life blood of the facility. Over the ensuing years, RPS has provided its unique brand of construction and technical services on hundreds of projects throughout the continental US.

We recruited the most highly skilled and experienced professionals in the mission-critical design and construction business, and developed a specialized approach to construction that combined the technical talent of professional engineers and architects with the expertise of our construction specialists – project managers, superintendents, and MEP coordinators.
