Buy online, pick up in-store (BOPIS) is a blessing for retail stores. This sales strategy accelerates the relevancy of brick-and-mortar in an e-commerce-dominated world. To provide consumers the freedom to pick up packages at their convenience without hindrances, retail stores require space and trained staff to accommodate their requests simultaneously with regular shoppers.

Luxer One eliminates the checkbox for prerequisites needed to provide a frictionless BOPIS experience by providing retailers with smart lockers called Luxer Lockers. Configured with IoT and integrated with the store’s order management system (OMS), retailers can deliver online orders to the locker 24/7, saving time and labor costs to accommodate and assist a long line of customers. They can also pick up packages at their convenience upon receiving order confirmation notifications directly on their smartphones, which increases customer satisfaction and the relative NPS score of the retail store.

Luxer Lockers are made up of 12 gauge steel to ensure packages are safe. Its iOS-powered user-friendly touch display uses optical character recognition (OCR) to recognize the recipient’s name from delivery tag photographs to facilitate safe pick up later. A key-free combination lock to all compartments combined with 24/7 cloud-based video surveillance solidifies the security of packages.

“Our lockers are designed and manufactured in-house. We lead the industry by pushing the envelope on what we can offer to stay true to our mission, which is to relentlessly improve the way the world receives goods,” says Josh Middlebrooks, president of Luxer One.

Its customer support assists retailers and consumers in the event of a misdelivered package, with data records from smart lockers and video surveillance aiding the process. Available 24/7, retailers can also contact the support team via email or text to solve any technical problems caused by the lockers, which Luxer One strives to resolve remotely within a short period. If necessary, the firm assigns its W2 employees stationed in major U.S. metropolitan cities to rectify the situation.

Retail stores can choose from various locker sizes and combinations from Luxer One’s catalog to accommodate packages of different sizes. It also accepts and immediately delivers customization requests for door types, sizes, and colors. In addition, the technology firm tailors software workflows and rules upon client requests to match their intricate order fulfillment processes. Once configured and successfully integrated, Luxer One assists in the planning, management, construction, and installation of Luxer Lockers. Its team of industry experts also guides stores to pilot and launch the smart lockers immediately, aided by in-person training and video materials for review.

All of our lockers are designed and manufactured in-house. We lead the industry by pushing the envelope on what we can offer to stay true to our mission, which is to relentlessly improve the way the world receives goods

For instance, a client approached Luxer One to roll out its smart lockers to over 1000 retail stores to increase operational efficiency. It performed a pilot launch with an out-of-the-box feature set and a lightweight API operation within four weeks of their request. During this period, the firm utilized customer feedback, altered the software and workflows to match the store’s order fulfillment process, and successfully rolled out the Luxer Locker system throughout their numerous stores.

Retail giants like Home Depot and Best Buy also employ the firm to increase their operational efficiency and fasten pickup and return. Despite the 250 million packages successfully picked up from its locker system, the entrepreneurial spirit it operates with fuels the reputation it enjoys in the industry. The sole smart locker system to be UL and LEED-certified and OSHA and ISO 9001-compliant, Luxer One is leagues ahead of its competitors.

Luxer One Introduces an Interactive Locker Configurator Built by CADENAS PARTsolutions

Thursday, June 01, 2023

Architects can now easily implement secure package rooms and lockers into residential, retail, and commercial spaces with Luxer One's online 3D BIM system.

CINCINNATI and MCCLELLAN -
Luxer One, a provider of secure package management systems, has launched an online inventory of configurable BIM products. Built by CADENAS PARTsolutions, the new catalog enables architects to implement secure package lockers quickly and accurately in multi-family residences, commercial buildings, retail spaces, and more.

Luxer has been developing package acceptance systems and solving delivery problems with innovative locker technology since 2005. After launching their first-generation lockers in 2013, the company introduced iOS-compatible lockers as well as refrigeration technology to keep shipped items accessible and safe during delivery. Luxer One's innovative mindset led them to pursue a more accessible and easier-to-use tool, powered by CADENAS' eCATALOGsolutions platform.

"Our goal is to make our site deliver content 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It never sleeps. We are providing our customers with easy access to accurate data whenever they need it," said Dave Dexter, the Vice President of Multifamily Sales at Luxer One. "Architects are on top of leading technology, and now we are too."

Luxer's new tool enables users to test lockers directly within their designs by delivering interactive models in a variety of formats, including popular CAD and BIM formats like Autodesk Revit. Architects can configure smart locker systems to meet their requirements whether that be one unit in a residential build or multiple units in multiple locations.

As the need for smart locker delivery systems grows, Luxer is streamlining the implementation process. Their interactive catalog helps by also delivering detailed, configured PDF datasheets to builders, contractors and specifiers. These new features help Luxer One clients to select the right product, the first time.

Dexter finished, "Whether you are an individual or a large company, anticipating your clients' needs with a successful and well-planned package management solution is critical. This configurator tool will help architects to easily plan and spec a solid solution, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, on their timetable."
