With clients being eager to share their BIM models across the enterprise. “MasterGraphics provides a single source of all project data from conception to construction that stakeholders can access in a secure and timely manner,” mentions Barmore. This single source of data enables the creation of building models to enable visualization for clients, stakeholders, and others involved in the project. Wilkes refers to MasterGraphics StudioMGI group for project visualization. One among the several instances in which MasterGraphics assisted its clients, was a quarrying company running material recovery operations, which faced major challenges in measuring and quantifying the mined materials, impeding its expansion plans. Despite deploying drones to collect material data, the company had little success as its software was unable to extract the right information from large data files. MasterGraphics came onboard and performed an in depth DPA. MasterGraphics was able to implement a workflow designed to enable drones to leverage different point-cloud tools like the Civil 3D, Recap 360, and Infraworks 360. Assistance from MasterGraphics helped the client design a subdivision utilizing Civil 3D for a quarry, which simplified its operations.
The company is investing resources to assist customers understand the advanced BIM features of Autodesk’s latest AEC Collection.
