Their flagship product, ExAM (Extensible Assessment Manager), has transformed the way data is collected and used in the public sector, particularly healthcare and facilities management. When the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) approached MB&A, their standards were highly outdated. Through ExAM, HUD and their stakeholders were able to advance their inspection processes, associated workflows, reporting, scoring and forms–all without having to write code to deliver software. This led to an 85 per cent customer satisfaction rating with the public housing authorities they serve, and contributed to HUD winning a Gears of Government Award in 2020.

In the last five years, MB&A has expanded their suite of products to include remote video inspection (ExAMRV) that enables virtual collaborations and inspections, even in areas that are hard to reach or dangerous. With the company’s newly-launched ExAM4Inspections Extension Package, teams can break complex inspections down into individual assignments. The corresponding app (for iOS and Android) is tailored for the entire lifecycle—from complex data collection to business process execution in the field.
