SegPay Makes Available Enhanced New Point of Sale System
FREMONT, CA: SegPay, which provides merchant assistance and online payment processing services, launched a new Point of Sale (POS) system with upgraded payment pages, conversion rate optimization and postbacks. Fully responsive and customizable payment pages will allow merchants to market a wide variety of devices used by consumers.
SegPay’s enhancement helps the payment pages handle all types of traffic no matter which device the consumer is using during the transaction process. "Having fully optimized payment pages are key to acquiring and converting consumers through the entire transaction process," says Cathy Beardsley, President and CEO of SegPay. The new POS system also eliminates issues faced at checkout which leads the consumers to correct bad data or improve conversion rates by using another credit card.
The system upgrades allow easier customization as the payment pages are database driven and also help merchants with decline and error handling. Jeff Rosenzweig, SegPay’s Director of Customer Experience notes that the new POS system was required to create an improved and enhanced experience for merchants while in situations of decline and error handling also consumer experience is more localized as payment pages, approval/decline pages and receipts are translated professionally in all major languages.
SegPay clients will be seamlessly migrated to the new POS system taking benefit of the new enhancement ahead of migration. Merchants can take advantage of new multivariate testing of payment pages through the new POS system which helps in optimizing and maximizing merchant review. Beta clients have already been using the new system since testing began with upgraded checkout and enhanced user experience.
