35 Percent Operational Efficiency Increase with OpenStack Platform Deployment
FREMONT, CA: Dualtec Cloud Builders, subsidiary of UOLDiveo group extends the cloud environment and service offerings with Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud; hosted on Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform.
The cloud computing company Dualtech has its roots in Brazil with a client base reaching around 11000. They understand that scaling the company without increasing operational costs is not practical. According to reports, there has been a raise in the operational efficiency by 35 percent when Dualtec started working with the Red Hat’s OpenStack-based cloud environment, making a difference in just 45 days. The company adopted the open source cloud operating system to control computation, storage and networking resources. Also, Brazil’s first OpenStack-based public cloud was deployed on Dualtec.
With a critical deadline of 45 days to launch the all-new OpenStack cloud environment, Dualtec chose Red Hat; capitalizing on their OpenStack expertise, support capabilities and focus on security.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform enabled Dualtec to cost-effectively scale the cloud computing environment without increasing the technology expert staff. Dualtec is now capable to serve its new clients and partners with cloud services that support demanding applications like e-commerce, social media, mobile, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and big data.
