FREMONT, CA: IoT is the next technology disruption at the doorstep of global community. According to the latest report from Gartner, the total number of ‘connected’ things in use in 2015 is forecasted to be 4.9Bn. This number would reach 25Bn by 2020, the report says. IoT is defined as the network of things – dedicated physical objects – that comprise of embedded technology for sense and interaction with their internal state or external environment. IoT ecosystem covers things, communication, applications, and data analysis.
