90 E-nose Sensors Define "client-specific categories of odour"

Matt Scholl, General Manager, Americas
There are several problems with environmental management such as too many reports are available for too few actions, excessive expertise without change, and too many unreleased data. There were not many solutions on the market to put data into effect in real time. This gave Envirosuite a new market place. Envirosuite is an environmental management technology developer with a strong scientific, engineering, and consultancy background. The firm combines recognized innovative technology innovators in the fields of environmental science with a technology development team that has brought them at the top of today’s marketplace.
Envirosuite has recently created a new contract in Kuwait to provide a citywide odour monitoring and management system. As per the contract, the company provides a network of 90 E-nose sensors for defining “client-specific categories of odour” that supply information into the environment and intelligence solutions of Envirosuite. This three-year contract with the Kuwait Environment Public Authority (K-EPA) amounts to a total of $1.2 million, including $265,000, which is expected to be added to the group’s recurring annual revenue through ongoing hardware and software provision and maintenance. This should enable the K-EPA in Kuwait and its surrounding regions to identify, analyze, and react to issues concerning odour and air quality management generally.
"Envirosuite is in an excellent position to become a leading supplier of air quality solutions to smart-city projects globally, and we are already receiving inbound inquiries from other regions, including South America, for similar smart-city projects"
For Envirosuite, this “smart city" project in Kuwait continues to trend customers seeking a “full end-to-end service,” including a software platform with suitable hardware.
“Envirosuite is in an excellent position to become a leading supplier of air quality solutions to smart-city projects globally, and we are already receiving inbound inquiries from other regions, including South America, for similar smart-city projects,” says Peter White, Envirosuite’s chief executive officer. Governments and customers in the mining, oil refining, transportation, and water management industries currently use the company’s environmental management platform globally.
Envirosuite sent its client, Latin America’s largest coal mining company Carbones del Cerrejon (ASX: BHP) and its Glencore (LSE: GLEN) and Anglo American (LSE: AAL). A significant upgrade was made to the new company by its current customer. Two additional solutions, along with equipment, installation and maintenance services, worth a total of $600,000, were included in the upgrade. Other recent customers who joined the board are Chile’s biggest pork producer Agrosuper, an agricultural giant, as well as a new Middle East public works agency.
