OTTAWA, CN: Above Security, IT security service provider, signs new partnership with, a Canada based Solana Networks that provides intelligent monitoring products for mission critical networks.

To safeguard the most valuable assets and customer data in ways that they have not in the past is the need of the hour for enterprises. It is also of common knowledge that most cyber security breaches are not caused by new vulnerabilities, but already well-known vulnerabilities, including the results of zero-day security attacks that were not detected by traditional IT security solutions.

This collaboration is allowing Above Security to further improve the security of its customers by adding Flow Capture and Network Behavior Analysis (NBA) capabilities to its ArkAngel platform in order to identify network anomalies and pinpoint hard-to-detect security threats. “Adding these new capabilities to our ArkAngel platform will allow our security analysts and experts to do that,” says Mario Venditti, Above Security’s Chief Operating Officer.

The integration of solutions will allow ArkAngel to analyze network flow traffic to detect zero-day security attacks. The new capability complements signature-based threat detection and significantly enhances Above Security’s security analysts’ capacity of detecting early and previously unknown threats.

“Above Security has a first rate security analytics team which secures their client networks all around the globe. We are delighted to enter into a technology partnership with the company, assisting them to safeguard client networks from security threats and strengthening their position in the cyber security arms race,” adds Nabil Seddigh, Solana Networks’ President.
