Accenture Refines Human Services Software to Version 7.1
ARLINGTON, VA: Version 7.1 Human Services Suites, from Accenture is now out in the market with added features like real-time insights on application Status, real-time identity verification and automatic renewal of benefits.
David McCurley, Global Managing Director of Accenture’s public sector software business states, “Our upgraded software brings greater efficiency to agencies and case workers, reduces citizen wait times and paper work, strengthens data accuracy, and helps states meet Federal compliance goals and guidelines.”
The latest software, that includes Accenture Public Service Platform, Benefits Management System and Citizen Self-Service Portal, addresses the requirements of public sector agencies in managing the costs and controlling technology.
It enables data verification to be done in real-time during online application for Medicaid and keeps in check the occurrences of errors. The enhancement also reduces application processing time that benefits citizens and case workers.
“Enabling applicants to apply online, with passive renewal of MAGI Medicaid benefits allows citizens to receive near real-time eligibility determination. This automation frees caseworkers from working on processing applications and allows them to spend more time on helping beneficiaries,” says Adelaide O’Brien, Research Director for government IT transformation at IDC.
