This latest partnership indicates recognition by Microsoft of AccuWeather's proven superiority in weather forecast accuracy to advantage its enterprise customers.

The integration of AccuWeather's data and weather forecasts and warnings into the Azure Maps platform complements and broadens the offering of other types of mapping data, like traffic and public transportation.  Now, Microsoft customers have access to accurate weather forecast data, as validated by several independent studies, comprising industry tracker ForecastWatch, proprietary features, and benefits, such as the patented AccuWeather MinuteCast minute-by-minute precipitation forecasts, daily forecast, current conditions, and global coverage.
