ADM Releases Windows 10-ready A8-7670K APU

FREMONT, CA: Advanced Micro Devices, designers of integrated technology for personal computers, game console and cloud serves, released latest addition for its A-Series processors,  A8-7670K, reports  Jeffery Burt for Eweek.

This new addition  will offer improved experience for users running Microsoft’s upcoming Windows 10 operating system on their PCs. The product comes with four CPU cores for Windows 10 workload and six Radeon R7 graphics GPU cores for steaming PC workloads and improved online gaming experience. The main highlights of AMD A8-7670K are: CPU speeds of 3.6GHz/3.9GHz Turbo and GPU speeds of up to 757MHz as well as 4MB of Level 2 cache.  In addition it supports DirectX12 and Mantle graphics APIs which will enhance the experience of popular games like Dota 2 and Counter-Stricke. It will also accelerate communications between CPU and GPU with help of Heterogeneous System Architecture (HSA) and AMD’s FreeSync technology for better display quality.

To enhance Microsoft 10 experience, AMD’s latest addition drives to enable Microsoft acceleration capabilities, including Microsoft’s Edge browser and BitLocker encryption technology, video Playback features and modern user interface. It also supports wireless display, remote desktops, XboxOne streaming and GameDVR, which allows the users to record the game.
