ADSI and 3GMTS Inks Technology and Mutual Referral Partnership
SHELTON, CT: ADSI, a provider of logistics software and mobile computing solutions for manufacturers, distributors, and online retailers have recently inked a technology partnership with 3GMTS that allows the integration among their solutions. 3GMTS, is a Transportation Management System (TMS) software development company that allows Shippers and Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) address the issues related to logistics management through its solutions.
The collaboration would empower shippers and third party logistics (3PL) providers improve delivery outcomes through an end-to-end advanced transportation planning and execution solution. It would also help them in controlling freight costs across all delivery modes.
Bob Fischer, President and CEO, ADSI states, “We believe this integration is a perfect fit for companies that need a robust transportation planning and execution solution that addresses all modes, including small parcel, LTL and truckload shipping.”
The deal would also provide customers with a solution that is being built upon the latest advances brought about in the technological field. The latest solution would include functions like end-to-end shipment planning, carrier rate and service analysis and selection, built-in EDI and shipment processing for domestic and international shipments.
The CEO of 3GMTS, Mitch Weseley says that the companies have been forced to reorganize their distribution network to meet the demands of online buyers. He went on to add that they decided to partner ADSI after evaluating the marketplace to enhance small parcel shipping. He asserts that the collaboration is a perfect fit for those who want SaaS, private cloud or classic on-premise implementations.
