Orlando, FL - Advanced Control SystemsTM (ACS), a global provider of smart grid automation technology, has recently introduced its Precision Real-Time Information System Manager™ (PRISM™) at DistribuTECH 2016. PRISM is the high-performance real-time foundation of all advanced system solutions delivered by ACS, including ADMS, Outage Management and Energy Management systems.

A 64-bit platform, PRISM 11, will help utilities deliver real-time information and automate network processes up to ten times faster than all of the previously released versions. This new launch, followed by a long history of improvements and updates to PRISM, includes significant upgrades in both features and operation across the ambit of its smart grid applications. As a result of PRISM 11, customers are expected to experience larger database capacity, expanded study mode and test mode capabilities, and improved security features.
