Aeris Rolls Out AeroVoyance for Upgraded Management of M2M
SANTA CLARA, CA: The need to analyze the enormous amount of data from IoT deployments is emerging as a challenge. Aeris, a supplier of M2M technology solutions launches AeroVoyance, a Machine to Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) analytics service that will provide comprehensive understanding to manage devices, troubleshoot issues and identify potential problems in an enhanced manner. The solution will help customers in connected device program management.
Apart from providing anomaly detection and predictive analytics as advanced features, AeroVoyance also enables clients to gain visibility into their device portfolio that includes usage, application and billing information. Its intuitive graphical interface will help to manage and troubleshoot the large- scale geographically distributed deployments, a challenge currently being faced, reports M2M Magazine.
“As the number of machine-to-machine connected devices grows, and we see the emergence of the Internet of Things, more companies will become increasingly reliant on reliable connectivity.“Meeting this demand depends, in part, on increasing the visibility of device behavior and being better able to identify, react to and predict problems. Enabling the device analytics necessary to achieve this is very important," says Matt Hatton, Founder and CEO, Machina Research.
AeroVoyance's Program Visibility feature helps in obtaining an overall view of the billing usage and device status on a historical as well as real time basis. The Diagnostics and Data Analysis property of the product analyzes the billing and usage data with the help of the interface to provide root cause analysis, issue resolution and cost management. Customers can set thresholds, identify anomalous behavior and take immediate steps with the Anomaly Alerts feature that provides automated action or alerts. Equipped with a learning engine that develops baseline device behavior profiles, the Prediction and Action feature allows users to enable proactive issues identification.
“With AerVoyance, Aeris customers have at their fingertips access to a deep and robust analytics suite that delivers enormous value in minutes,” says Gurinder Dhillon, Head of Applications and Analytics, Aeris.
