Alfresco Activiti Gets the E-Signature of SIGNiX to Accomplish Paper-Free Office
FREMONT, CA: Extensive use of paper has menaced the existence of trees. Assimilating the value of trees, Alfresco started incorporating paper-free concept in offices. Reports of Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM) showed 84 percent of organizations saw a Return on Investment (ROI) from paper-free programs in less than 18 months. Yet majority of the offices still depend on manual signatures for contracts and other mission-critical documents. To help those offices adapt new methodologies, SIGNiX has recently partnered with Micro Strategies, reseller of Alfresco to integrate e-signatures with Alfresco Activiti.
Alfresco Activiti is an enterprise Business Process Management (BPM) solution, which blends content management system with BPM. SIGNiX is an independent solution provider for cloud-based e-signature technology that makes signing documents online secure and legal for any organization. Finalized, secured, compliant Independent E-Signatures™ can be accomplished by the integration of these two platforms to automatically move an organization into a digital workflow for the business processes such as invoice payments and contract approvals. In the recent, SIGNiX has partnered with several technology enterprises to provide integrated e-signatures, including MediTract, Treeno and Trinisys.
Micro Strategies is a leading value-added reseller (VAR) for Alfresco, a cloud-based Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software built on open standards. "Our integration with SIGNiX gives customers the software benefits of multiple vendors without the hassle of working through many different companies," Adam Storch, Vice President of Business Solutions at Micro Strategies, said in a joint statement. So, "There's one bill to pay, one point of contact, one user interface and one unified strategy” remarks Storch.
The collaboration between Micro Strategies and SIGNiX brings-in an efficient and easy way to deploy highest levels of identity authentication and encryption, comprehensive audit trails and tamper-evident technology to ensure the safety and security of e-signatures and e-signed documents. Thus, Alfresco Activiti has evolved as an ideal product for the offices to use paper-free documents and keep their companies technologically up-to-date.
