Allscripts Partners with ScriptSave to Implement Prescription Savings Program for Uninsured Patients
CHICAGO, IL: Allscripts, a provider of healthcare technology solution, announces its collaboration with ScriptSave – a provider of prescription savings solution – to deliver innovative programs for retail pharmacies, health care organizations, physicians and affinity groups trust that can promote patient adherence.
The saving program focuses on those patients who are uninsured or whose insurance plans cannot cover their medications, cannot afford branded and generic prescribed medications that can contribute in improving patient satisfaction, adherence and outcomes.
This discount program supports ‘save paper’ by resorting to electronic method, eliminating the efforts of patients to assemble, prepare and submit paperwork to receive discount benefits. It enhances efficiency with less paper work and labor required to process, complete physical forms. It also saves pharmacists’ efforts for reprocessing scripts, reducing process time of any attendants.
Including approximately 60,000 pharmacies nationwide, ScriptSave provides pharmacy loyalty cards to fully integrated benefit solutions allowing health plans, pharmacy chains and affinity groups improve health care.
