Anite Signs Agreement with Huawei to Access Network Structure OSS

FREMONT, CA: Anite, supplier of test and measurement solutions to the international wireless market, has signed agreement with Huawei to access their network structure OSS (Operations Support Systems) interfaces. The contract is signed under the name Operations Support Systems interoperability initiative (OSSii).

The agreement provides access to Huawei product interfaces, ensuring that Anite’s Nexo Xynergy and Nexo WindCatcher integrate with operators ‘wireless network OSS infrastructure to achieve more accurate testing result.

Nexo Xynergy is a powerful, scalable and easy-to-use web based platform, which provides deep insights into customer experience and network performance of their wireless systems. The main features of Nexo Xynergy include: highly customizable, middleware capability and better outcomes. It consists of 4 modules namely: Drive test- for acceptance, benchmarking, and optimization; Small Cells, Network Management, Customer Experience. This platform improves operational efficiency and maximizes network resources.

Nexo WindCatcher is a vendor-neutral, desktop-based, multi-data drive test post processing tool, which is optimized for heterogeneous test environments and processes. It analyzes a wide range of data to performs multi-core processing functionality for faster data output. It is mainly designed for optimization, benchmarking of new technologies and high-speed data networks.

The OSSii was initiated to enable easy interoperability by integrating a variety telecom network technology from several vendor equipments thereby reducing overall OSS integration cost.
