Apantac to Display its Hybrid Multiviewer at IBC 2015

LONG BEACH, CA:  Designer and developer of high quality, cost effective image signal processing equipment, Apantac to expand its catalog by adding new Hybrid Multiviewer supporting IP/ASI and SDI/CVBS Baseband signals to TAHOMA Platform.

The new TAHOMA-IL hybrid multiviewer comes with the ability to acquire a blend of IP/ASI streams and baseband video signals, and representing them on one or more displays. These IL multiviewers can accept audio formats like H.264, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4, multicast and unicast over UDP or ASI, as well as MP1L2, AAC-LC and HEC-AAC-LC  with a Baseband signal support for 3G/HD/SD-SDI, along with composite video formats. The hybrid multiviewer can mix and match up to 20 IP and SDI/CBVS images on a single display.

TAHOMA-IL multiviewer also features high resolution HDMI/DVI outputs, with an optional SDI output, and resolution up to 1920x1200p, plus built-in CATx extenders of up to 115 ft.

Apantac’s Skin Technology promises an easy and novel visual layout setup and on-screen displays (OSD). The customizable on-screen display set-up via software includes: borders, labels, GPI/O, tally, visual and audio alarms, AFD & WSS, alarm monitoring, close captioning, safe area markers, audio meters, analogue and digital clocks as well as room for logos. Video windows on the display include multiple labels, and support UMD, OMD, IMD and standalone labels.
