Appdome Zero Management Mobility secures enterprise mobile apps for bring your own device (BYOD) without the use of management profiles.
FREMONT, CA: Appdome is a platform that allows mobile developers and enterprise mobility professionals to integrate their mobile apps through its patented App Fusion technology in seconds without coding. Appdome, known as the industry's first no-code mobile integration and solutions platform, has introduced a new service to the employees to secure their enterprise mobile apps in bring your own device (BYOD) environments.
The new service, Zero Management Mobility, is applicable for internally built and third-party apps. This new service without utilizing the management profiles on the employee devices provides them with a consumer-like experience while enhancing security for enterprise mobile apps. Additionally, the offering provides customers with a unique combination of security services, including obfuscation, app shielding, as well as SDK services, such as VPN access and SSO, and encryption.
Through several mechanisms, mobile apps that need to be secured can leverage the Zero Management Mobility platform. These apps are hosted by Public App Store, Invitation only, and private distribution. However, Public App Store is highly preferred by enterprise customers as it gives the employees consumer-like mobile experience. Even B2B and B2C app makers prefer the Appdome platform over developing functionalities manually as they consider it a faster and more convenient way of delivering apps to their customers.
"Enterprises need to deploy mobile apps to all employees vs. a select few MDM or EMM users," said Tom Tovar, Appdome CEO and Co-Creator. "With Zero Management Mobility, enterprises are empowered to deliver secure mobile apps in ways mobile users are accustomed and without management profiles."
Appdome serves organizations that use a combination of Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) that is multi-case environments enabling organizations to take full control of their mobility strategies. In that regard, Appdome delivers its extensive assistance for EMM/MAM solutions, including VMware Workspace ONE (AirWatch), BlackBerry, IBM MaaS360, Microsoft Intune, and MobileIron.
"This allows organizations to craft strategies that embrace multi-deployment use cases and reach all employees with a single solution," Tovar added.
Appdome caters to more than 100 clients across multiple sectors including financial service, healthcare, law firms, government institutions and e-commerce providers delivering rich mobile experiences while eliminating development complexity and accelerating mobile app lifecycles. Appdome was featured in CIOReview magazine as one of the 10 Most Promising Enterprise Mobility Solution Providers 2018.
