AppFolio Adds Common Area Maintenance Feature to Address Specialized Business Needs
SANTA BARBARA, CA: AppFolio, a provider of cloud-based business software solutions in the property management and legal markets adds new feature to its existing software solution for property management professionals, AppFolio Property Manager.
The new Common Area Maintenance (CAM) feature boosts commercial property managers’ capability to manage their properties dramatically with the use of AppFolio Property Manager. This contemporary approach towards CAM is well suited for modern property management both commercial and residential professionals.
With a deep understanding of customer needs and respective innovative products in the field, the AppFolio’s solution is user-friendly with intuitive functionality addressing the specialized business needs. The enhanced AppFolio Property Manager easily allocates property expenses to tenants based upon lease terms; estimate property and tenant expenses for the upcoming year. It tracks and reconciles CAM expenses and income for commercial properties whenever necessary eliminating double entries. In addition, it also tracks progress throughout the year on both a property and tenant level thereby assessing variances between estimated and actual expenses throughout the year.
"We looked at how we could continue to enhance our core solution for commercial property managers, and we observed that many property managers still use inefficient, manual processes often paired with property management software for expense tracking and reconciliation," points our Nat Kunes, Vice President of Product at AppFolio.
