Aptean Beefs Up Enterprise Resource Planning With its Latest Software
ATLANATA, GA: Aptean, a provider of enterprise software solutions, unveils Made2Manage 7.5, the latest version of its enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, services and support solution. Designed for small and medium-sized discrete manufacturers, the version completely moves Made2Manage (M2M) to Microsoft .NET technology deploying Microsoft SQL Reporting Services as its reporting engine.
With shop floor execution for discrete manufacturers in dynamic, to-order environments, Made2Manage seamlessly integrates ERP and scheduling with shop floor execution. There are several other features added in Made2Manage 7.5 as per the demand of Aptean customers, this includes multiple item engineering changes as well as simultaneous approvals, bar code posting, multi-currency transaction facility and control of sales orders by line item and release.
“The updated Microsoft .NET customization tools make it easy to customize and tailor Made2Manage to your overall business processes. Made2Manage is central to everything we do—production numbers enable us to see inefficiencies, tweak customer pricing and set financials. In addition, M2M’s order tracking and reporting has helped us raise our on-time delivery numbers to 95 percent, the highest in company history,” states Press-Seal Gasket Corporation IT Manager Chris Slater, an Aptean Made2Manage customer.
