'Automating the Automobile' Program Scheduled For June!

Fremont, CA: The Design Automation Conference (DAC) is scheduled from June 1-5 of 2014 that will feature a talk by Automotive Systems and Software Track with the keynote “Automating the Automobile.” The speakers will be Jim Buczkowski, Director of electrical and electronics systems from Ford Motor Company and James Tung, a MathWorks Fellow.

Automation in automobile is soaring. Key factors in automobile such as safety concerns, navigation, in-vehicle connectivity and infotainment have to be reworked on with regard to automation. Buczkowski and Tung with their immense experience in automobile and electronic design and automation respectively will shed light on the key requirements and steps to be taken to accomplish the goal of automation. The keynote “Automating the Automobile” will be a part of “The Automotive Systems and Software Track” event and is scheduled for the 3rd of June 2014 at DAC as reported by Business wire.

DAC started in the year 1964 as an event for the design of electronic circuits and systems and electronic design automation. Professionals from technology domain ranging from electronic and logic circuit designers, CAD managers to a host of researchers and academicians have been a part of DAC events since its inception. Current technology trends and products are discussed by the industry experts in DAC. The conference runs under the sponsorship of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), Electronic Design Automation Consortium and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
