FREMONT, CA: AvePoint, a company that enables enterprise collaboration across platforms and devices, launches AvePoint Online Services, a Microsoft Azure-based Software-as-a-Service platform for Office 365. The company has also added new features for DocAve Governance Automation Online.

The primary objective of AvePoint rests on removing on-boarding roadblocks, transform business processes and help the organizations to gain control of its data by offering Office 365 administration, compliance, data governance and file share presentation solutions.

AvePoint has integrated with Azure Active Directory and SQL Azure Database to offer simplified platform access and scalability. The new Single Sign On feature allows users to sign in to AvePoint Online Services using their Office 365 login credentials, with identities managed through Azure AD. With the enhanced features in DocAve Governance Automation Online, users can get a thorough knowledge of the site ownership, purpose, and associated metadata while making requests for provisioning as well as lifecycle and permissions management directly within the SharePoint Online interface. Users can also track the status of open tasks and submitted requests from within SharePoint Online.

“With the latest release of AvePoint Online Services, administrators can easily access and scale the tools they need for Office 365 management while boosting user productivity and ensuring organizational governance policies are met through automated service requests and insights available within the SharePoint Online interface,” says George Petrou, Chief Technical Officer, AvePoint.
