Axiomtek Offers Stainless Steel Panel Computer and OPS-Compliant Digital Signage Player
CITY Of INDUSTRY, CA: Axiomtek, designers and manufacturers of high performance PC-based industrial computer products has come up with two products: GOT812LR-834 -novel high-brightness 12.1-inch stainless steel panel computer for harsh environments; and OPS883- latest update on its Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) digital signage player.
GOT812LR-834’s fanless and noiseless design operates in a temperature range from -20°C to +55°C. Industrial stainless touch panel, supports low power consuming Intel AtomTM processor E3827 at 1.75 GHz and maximum storage capacity up to 8GB.
The product suits for environments such as, marine, food factories, steel mills, gas pumps, outdoor information kiosks, and point of sale terminals, with rich expandability interfaces with M12 connectors including two COM ports (RS-232/422/485), two USB 2.0 ports and one Gigabit Ethernet port. Dual PCI Express (PCIe) Mini Card slots are also available for wireless network connections.
Two LCD options are available: 12.1-inch XGA TFT LCD with 1000 nits brightness and a low reflection resistive (GOT812LR-834); and SVGA TFT LCD with 500 nits brightness (GOT812L-834).
OPS883, the digital signage player, incorporates 22nm 4th Generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 or Celeron processor; and the Intel Q87 Express chipset. The Intel OPS standard helps manufacturers to provide cost-saving benefits by reducing the complexity associated with installation, maintenance and deployment processes.
Features like 4K High Definition content (to meet HD quality), dual display and real-time audio and video makes it ideal for multimedia applications in shopping malls, corporate offices, classrooms, retail stores, restaurants and more. The product is equipped with one 2.5” HDD tray and one optional mSATA interface for increased storage; one PCI Express Mini Card slot for a graphics-enhanced video card; wireless LAN card and 3G/LTE modules for wireless communication; Intel Active Management Technology 9.0 simplifies integration process offering remote diagnosis.
The open pluggable module can connect to OPS-compliant displays via a standardized JAE TX-25 plug connector. It supports HDMI, DisplayPort, UART, audio, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 signals.
