Axiomtek Unveils new Nano-ITX Motherboard: the NANO840

CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA: Axiomtek, one of the leading Computer and Peripheral Equipment Company, has unveiled the NANO840, a wide temperature and Quad-Core NANO-ITX motherboard. The latest motherboards, measures just 120 mm x 120 mm and supports Intel Atom processor E3845 or E3827 with one DDR3L 1066/1333 up to 8 GB memory. 

The device comes with multiple display outputs: HDMI, LVDS and VGA, with visual experiences augmented for dual-view supported. The board is suitable for applications which require a power-optimised and rich-I/O platform, such as high-end medical imaging, digital signage, kiosks/POI, thin clients, and gaming machines. 

“The fully integrated fanless nano-ITX motherboard also provides two PCIe Mini Card expansion interfaces for network connection. One of the PCIe Mini Card slots also supports mSATA interface to provide an additional storage option. Customers can also enjoy the advantage of good thermal design to running it in wide temperatures and fanless operation. It not only provides protection against dust or noise but also provides flexibility to design rugged systems.” said Michelle Mi, Product Manager of the Product Marketing Division, Axiomtek.

The embedded board can operate under temperatures ranging from -40 to +80°C. The NANO840 also comes with advanced connectivity including five USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, one RS-232/422/485, one RS-232, dual Gigabit LAN ports, one SATA-300 port, two PCIe Mini Card slots, HD Audio and a built in Watchdog Timer.
