Axon Cybersecurity Data Collection Platform Launched By Tripwire
SAN FRANCISCO, CA: A multiservice, scalable, high-performance data collection platform, Axon has been recently released by Tripware, a security and compliance solutions contributor. Axon is a unified, modular data collection domain that optimizes collection, aggregation and application of high contented data for the users. It enables users to collect endpoint data once with reusability value across various security and compliance control.
Axon is designed to crack challenges related to accuracy and overall security and compliance visibility issue across a wide range of enterprise systems. Axon platform also helps in overcoming the unfamiliar challenges of monitoring and securing in the increasing number of Internet of Things (IoT) devices on enterprise networks along with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) devices.
Agent groups are making effort to manage data collection and security capabilities implemented on critical infrastructure and user devices. Considering the rise in cybercrime and nation-state cyberattacks, over the valuable enterprise data a demand for modular solution is always at rife. In order to arrange the data, needed to protect the growing number of widely dispersed physical, virtual, transient and embedded assets a solution is needed for enterprises, which can be easily managed and implemented. “Many organizations are grappling with the challenges of managing multiple data collection agents on a single device,” said Dwayne Melancon, CTO and Vice President, Research and Development, Tripwire. Handling multiple group agents on the same device for accurate, complete data collection without impacting the performance or introducing any operational risks is not an easy task to take. In order to fulfill these requirements organizations are enforced to opt between detailed data collecting service to assist forensic and audit requirements. “The Axon Platform is designed to address these problems without compromising on either data fidelity or operational performance,” Melancon added.
Axon is a platform capable to adapt quickly to the advanced user demands for cybersecurity. The Axon’s modular, pluggable architecture is designed to simplify the additional new capabilities and security technologies while developing and shifting of infrastructure. Axon also leverages Tripwire’s extensive expertise in delivering security solutions for critical infrastructure.
The Axon platform will further prepare applications to deliver these key features such as Modular, Extensible, Scalable, High Efficiency, Low Bandwidth Requirements, Secure and Resilient.
“Security threats targeting all types of endpoints continue to escalate, and many organizations don’t have the visibility necessary to detect and respond to breaches as they happen,” said Gus Malezis, President, Tripwire. “Our new platform bridges the information gap between security, compliance and IT operations solutions by making it possible to collect high-fidelity data from multiple security services on every endpoint across the organization using a single agent – this approach optimizes and reduces operations costs for our customers,” Melancon explained.
