Azlan Joins Hands with EMC and Cisilion to Deliver Enhanced Enterprise Storage
FREMONT, CA: In its endeavor to offer enhanced enterprise storage solutions, Tech Data’s enterprise division, Azlan has partnered with storage vendor EMC and systems integrator Cisilion to offer enhanced enterprise storage solutions.
The partnership has paved the way for Azlan to maintain close co-operation between the companies on a varied number of projects that will be carried out by EMC. Azlan will provide pre-sales support, professional services expertise and product fulfillment on the vendor’s solutions to Cisilion, along with additional support form EMC.
The collaboration has also opened the doors for Azlan to become Cisilion’s sole distribution provider of EMC solutions.
“While Cisilion has been a reseller of other storage providers for many years, EMC is the global leader that will help transform the operations of Cisilion’s customers,” stated Nick Paul, sales director and EMC executive sponsor at Cisilion. “This agreement allows us to work more strategically with EMC to help our customers achieve cost reductions while strengthening our own storage propositions.”
“Cisilion is one of the leading integrators of data centre systems and its strong focus on the delivery of new generation IT systems to achieve effective customer transformation is very closely aligned with Azlan’s own approach,” said Paul Milner, EMC business manager at Azlan. “This is a powerful collaboration that will drive new opportunities and deliver even more positive outcomes for Cisilion’s end-user customers.”
“We made this significant investment in Cisilion due to their presence in the City of London, their expertise in data centre and existing premiere partnerships with leading vendors,” added Kevin Sparks, director of Alliances, Channel and Distribution at EMC. “This extends to far more than just a reseller agreement and we are excited to have this fast-growing company as a key partner.
The companies—Cisilion, Azlan and EMC—aim to provide comprehensive solutions that help end-user clients to minimize the cost of operations related to management, deployment and data centre costs, while assisting them reduce the data footprint in remote locations.
