Barracuda Rebrands to Barracuda Phone System and Earns AT&T Certification

CAMPBELL, CA: Barracuda, provider of cloud-connected security and storage solutions, announces the rebranding of its CudaTel to Barracuda Phone System, to expand its system support for international locations. Barracuda Phone System is certified with AT&T Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and can be configured to work with AT&T IP Flexible Reach.

Barracuda Phone System has earned its certification from AT&T to meet all the requirements for compatibility with AT&T IP Flexible Reach service. The integration provides customers a cost-effective and reliable phone system solution with features designed to increase user productivity and IT management.  “We are pleased to have achieved this important certification with AT&T and are excited that we’ve started to expand the Barracuda Phone System platform to international locations.Barracuda Phone System does away with per-user, per-feature licensing, giving customers access to all features available on every phone system model that Barracuda offers. The latest upgradation is purpose built to support wide variety of SIP handsets and can also be configured for both analog and Primary Rate Interface (PRI) telephone services. The added features of Barracuda Phone System includes, Communication Command Center which will increase productivity by allowing users to answer and transfer calls from their computer with an easy-to-use drag-and-drop feature; reduces space required with a 1U rack appliance; simplifies management with intuitive web-based user interface designed for IT administrators; integrates with existing networks and includes LDAP integration.
