Bell Integrator and EView Technology to Integrate IBM Mainframe and iSeries (AS400) Midrange Server
SAN JOSE, CA: Bell Integrator, a consulting and outsourcing company, announces that it is joining hands with EView Technology, a provider of solutions that enable seamless integration of IBM Mainframe and iSeries (AS400) environments.
iSeires (AS400) is a midrange server designed to work in distributed networks with web applications. It uses the PowerPC microprocessor with its reduced instruction set computer technology with an operating system called OS/400. With multi-tetra bytes of disk storage and a Java virtual memory closely tied into the operating system, the creator’s aim that the AS/400 becomes a versatile all-purpose server that can replace PC servers and Web servers in businesses globally.
Bell Integrator says that the partnership will allow it to offer unique, powerful and cost effective solutions to their customers to harness the power of the Mainframe/zOS and iSeries (AS/400) environments which are crucial elements of a comprehensive Enterprise IT strategy. The organization says that it enables both the companies to obtain a true 360-degree visibility across the end-to-end IT environment.
