Best Buy Canada Chooses Unily to Modernize its Intranet Solution

Best Buy Canada will partner with Unily to create an intranet that will revolutionize its internal communications.

FREMONT, CA: Unily, a leading supplier of enterprise solutions, has been chosen by Best Buy Canada, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Best Buy and one of Canada's largest market retailers, to update its new intranet infrastructure and digitally improve its employee experience. Best Buy Canada will partner with Unily to create an intranet that will revolutionize its internal communications. The business's new intranet will replace the current legacy solution and create a digital hub for workers to become more collaborative, involved, and efficient.

With more than 12,000 workers across Canada, Best Buy Canada wanted a way to ensure that all employees, including administrative, front-line, and fulfillment center personnel, were linked, trained, and had all the details they needed in a single one-stop-shop. Through preferring Unily, Best Buy Canada will be able to fully redesign the current intranet with a new, cloud-based infrastructure that will put all staff together in a seamless online work environment.

The new intranet will create a centralized source of information and up-to-date business news for workers and serve as a multimedia platform for social collaboration. It will also deliver peer-to-peer reviews to staff, providing an engaging location for colleagues to communicate and facilitating more than 250 million unique digital and in-store customer visits per year.
