Bitglass Introduces Privacy-Centric Platform
FREMONT, CA: As enterprises are adopting cloud applications, the IT department is under tremendous pressure to ensure the security of the corporate data which is residing and travelling on third-party servers and networks to employee owned devices. The company says that its product can be setup easily across an organization without installing any special software on employee devices, changing firewall policies or imposing restrictions on how cloud applications are accessed. Users do not have to worry about prying administrators and can use the same apps personally and professionally. The features of the package include reverse proxy which watermarks, for easy tracking, files which were downloaded; business information can be erased from a device in case of theft or loss and it also includes access controls and a single sign-on mechanism, which can be swapped with an existing identity management solution.
