CHICAGO, IL: Blue software updates its Brand Lifecycle Management software as a service, BLUE to BLUE 3.8 that includes dynamic workflow, innovative assignment engine and fully integrated text and image compare.
BLUE is a software as a service package for graphics process management for brands to control brand assets, improve processes and handle validated approval workflows. BLUE helps in packaging design process, marketing processes, online review management, digital asset management, and product performance.
The new release of BLUE consisting assignment engine automatically assigns tasks to the right individuals based on region, language, and skills cancelling out the delays caused by individually finding the right person and getting approvals. Its dynamic workflow feature allows users to adjust tasks of other workflow steps without starting from the scratch.
BLUE 3.8 also features text compare- automatic identification of differences in copy that are reflected in a unified trail. The copy management feature enables users to preset copy element sequence for a product line and export copy to PDF. Additionally, it provides the ability to measure and validate a bar code’s GTIN through online proofing allowing managers to access Key Performance Indicator (KPI) records.
The latest release of BLUE runs on a much faster engine that allows a wide range of file formats with more scalability and improved color matching. It also leverages BLUE’s private cloud architecture.
